Vanus Galerion paradox (quest conflict)

Inside the mages guild in daggerfall I found two of Vanus, one being from the main quest that I was doing, and the other being from the teaser quest that I had yet to take.
I'm guessing the same could happen to the other two factions as well, if you don't take the teaser quest.
Not sure this really belongs under bugs, but I don't know where else to post it, asked around, but no one could say where else to post it.
