Combat Pets, what exactly do they scale with and what do they inherit from the player?

The only short answer I have gotten for the above is that combat pets scale with max Magicka. This answer makes sense for Sorcerer pets, but do they gain anything else from the player? Can pets even crit anymore? What about proc set "pets" like Mad Tinkerer or Maw of the Infernal?

Furthermore, what about proc pets which deal physical damage such as Morkuldin's sword or Selene's bear? Do these scale physical based attacks scale with max Stamina? Can they crit?

Additionally, can these pets' attacks proc other sets? If so, what are the rules for such things?

Considering the amount of questions you have asked, the answer would be rather complex.

Firstly, summoned Sorcerer pets only scale with Magicka, that is correct.
The volatile familiars special attack scales with Champion Point passives and group buffs, same for the Atronach.
The twilights attacks do not scale with any champion points. Even though you see an increase in tooltip damage, that's an illusion. Pets can not proc sets, only the volatile familiars pulse can proc offensive sets. The twilight heal can proc heal sets like bodgan or spell power cure.

All pets attack can crit though.
Summoned pets like the daedroth scale exclusively with your champion points. For example elemental expert, but pets summoned with sets can't crit anymore.

And yes, morkuldin and selene only scale with stamina related CPs. Such as mighty and they can't crit either.
    Have I forgotten anything ?
Maybe also note, that set pets like Mad tinkerer, morkuldin etc will receive the 55% damage buff from daedric prey.

Wow, that is extremely useful information. I had thought that maybe combat pets followed a clear-cut set of rules, but i guess they are sorta case-by-case. Thank you very much
