Summerset, Cinematics, and the High Elf Hero...

This has been bugging me for a couple days.

The High Elf Hero appears to narrate in the Summerset Cinematic Teaser. Is that actually her speaking? Is this the first time we have heard any of the three original heroes speak in their own voice? Who is this lady? Does she have a name? Do we get to meet her in the game?

It's her speaking. So far, the heroes have only been representatives.
Yet the trailer left me hoping, that she is a real person and that we can speak to her. Would be super epic.

Compared to the Morrowind trailer I feel that one was lacking in effort. There was far more involved with Naryu fighting alongside the Warden.

Unless I am mistaken and the full trailer has not been released yet. In which case my bad.

I think it’s pretty clear they ran out of money. Also the reason all the cities look the same, unlike in Morrowind.

If they give her a name, they'll have to update the description of her costume:
"This costume pays tribute to a High Elven hero of the Aldmeri Dominion whose deeds in Cyrodiil in the Alliance War are legendary. Now you can honor this nameless Altmer by adopting her epic appearance."

They call it a "Teaser", so that implies to me that there is more to it that is coming.

It would be cool if they would flesh out the Pact and Dominion characters from the Trailers. I think the poor Covenant guy is dead, though.

Agreed. Even if the Breton hero is dead, there could always be a little quest revolving around that piece of blue cloth he carries around. Find it and learn about the guy through a little series of quests while trying to return to his wife or something. Bad idea, I know but I haven't had sleep yet.

No idea what happened to the Pact dude though. Stuck in Coldharbour? Let's help him escape.

I've wondered the same thing. I would love to see further stories around those three characters from the original cinematics. Actually, if she's not in Summerset, I'm going to feel a little let down.

While we're on speculation about what could come...

As it states on the ESO website, Summerset wraps up the story from the base game. So, after Summerset, it's apparently going to be completely new story driven content. One can only guess where they are going to go. More Tamriel zones? Other continents? Other parts of Oblivion? One can speculate endlessly at this point.

However, the undead Breton... Maybe he will be tied into the King of Worms appearing down the line somehow. I have no doubt there will be additional content regarding the King of Worms one day. Either a chapter, or at least a DLC. Those of us familiar with the lore, even somewhat, are fully aware he's not just left writhing on a rack in Coldharbor...

Maybe then people will get the necromancer class they all keep telling themselves their getting.

Wonderful! I always enjoy the cinematics, and the closer they are to ESO-realistic the better I like them.

Meh, that's not that big of an obstacle. If we go to Thras or meet up with Mannimarco again having his undead self show up would be perfectly plausible. Do we have a date on Vanus Galerion's death? Maybe the next plotline will be the showdown between him and Mannimarco where the former winds up dead.

Hope it's soon on that date. Every time I deal with him I'm looking for the option to kill him off myself.

The Heroes are meant to be us, hence why no names. Remember that Naryu and others calls us Hero. Why would they not have access to soul gems? Be no surprise to see them returned.

Pretty sure she's just another nameless hero.

Yeah, but I have seen you in the game, so obviously you exist in the game world. You look nothing like any of the three heroes.

I hold for the possibility that, even if they are intended to represent us, they are not us and can appear in the game.

That is a problem between the cinematic artists and the game artists. Why the game artists didn't follow the cinematic artists more closely, I do not know.

Which, to me, simply means that if this character did appear in the game, we would not recognize her.
