Staff Selection Question
I have a quick question in regards to FB/BB staff selection. From my understanding, ancient knowledge recalculates damage after each damage tick. If I am running a Magicka Warden with Blockade and Winters Revenge on the back bar, wouldnt I want to run a lightning staff on the front bar and a flame staff on the back bar since I will be on my front bar for a majority of the damage ticks for both AoE dots? Also the Fire Blockade would be more DPS from my understanding. Since Deep Fissue appears to be an AoE ability it would benefit from the lightning staff on the front bar as well.
The reason I ask is because several builds I see have the opposite, maybe I dont understand the Ancient Knowledge passive...

ChandraNalaar✭✭✭Usually you have your dots on the back bar and single target on front bar, so you want the flame staff on the single target bar and lightning staff on the aoe bar. Fire blockade is more overall dps, however for raid teams and stuff like that you may run lightning. Also for dungeons/pve stuff I wouldn't use deep fissure at all, to be honest; that's more of a pvp thing. @Jeffdkc0
