What do you think about Chapter II (release date: May 21st / June 5th) & the upcoming features?

As you may have noticed ZOS announce the second Chapter for Elder Scrolls Online: Summerset a few minutes ago.

Features of the upcoming Chapter are:

- Explore a whole new zone, Summerset Isle

- Experience an epic main story quest line, concluding the narrative that began in the ESO base game and continued through Clockwork City

- Join the mysterious Psijic Order for the first time in an Elder Scrolls game and explore their island home of Artaeum

- Learn a brand-new Psijic Order combat Skill Line, and wield powers over time itself

- Master a new Jewelry Crafting Skill Line

- Face the challenges of Cloudrest, a new 12-player Trial

- Take on new group PvE challenges, including the Abyssal Geysers

if you don't set expectations you won't be disappointed. seems cool enough, Psijic skills could be fun and fill in some holes for classes that may be missing something. very glad spellcrafting is not a thing. too many variables to account for in a game that relies on balance (how well has that gone so far?)

More quests to do and places to see - seems like a normal expansion to me.

the only thing i really would like in ESO is some nercromancy. don't care about conflicting with the main storyline. just want to raise some undead minions. maybe if the sorc could summon some cooler daedra i wouldnt care as much

29.99 for just the digital upgrade is not to bad. My hope is the content is at least equal to Wrothgar.

I am more concerned over what other changes that will come aside from the new content. cough Mag DK rework cough

I knew a lot of what was expected due to the datamining, but seeing it, hearing ZOS talk about it and the little teases Rich gave us was amazing. I am REALLY hyped for this now.

It looks good but you are not going to be able to buy it with crowns and thy are going charge 3 times what it's actually worth so I'm pretty pissed. Another 40 dollar DLC. It's ridiculous.

What would you spell craft exactly? They already have a hard enough time balancing the spells were given, it's a horrible idea to allow us to create our own lol

you mean the new DLC right?

No new race, or class, look for some geographic "feature" to limit the actual playable area versus map size. You get everything they are offering here with a DLC or outside a DLC, new "systems" are typically offered in DLC and outside of DLC (ie transmute, housing, etc.).

Don't seem very "chapterish".

Would it have kiled them to have made a necromancer class, or a goblin race (already existing in game assets)?

only 30 dollar dollars? so it's just twice as much as its worth which is an improvement. I guess I am somewhat less poed.

Not exactly great, but not too bad either. I expected more from a new chapter to be honest, such as a new class or spellcrafting as a new system.
At least we get lots of Altmer to murder...

This is the first expansion that's genuinely made me scratch my head in confusion.

Why would the elf nazis open their homeland, which has never allowed entry to outsiders (which it why it's never been playable), to both of their enemies?

Why would a reclusive sect of elf *** monks start recruiting random people off the street?

Why is Jewelry crafting part of an expansion and not the base game?

Almost the same as I expected, really. I will buy it for story, lore and new overland zone anyway. Just can't miss it. My altmer main will not forgive me.

Looks very bad to me since I don't collect flowers or do pointless quests for blue weapons like many fellas in this forum, but I still can't say anything since I don't know about the new sets coming.

If there's just 2 dungeons and bad sets as usual I probably won't be playing it, I've been waiting for a year already for new content and every patch comes with worse sets, I still can't believe that the sets I used to play with are still meta.

Also, 1 skill line for 30$ haha, that was good, you guys better put 20 skills on that one because they had 1 year to figure out stuff to implement and let's not even talk about the thousands of detailed skill lines and classes that many people have been suggesting since launch.

Another important thing:

Kai Schober, the German Community Manager, did another stream for a German gaming website right before and after the announcement. He said they haven't revealed every feature of Summerset yet and that we should keep an eye on the upcoming articles we'll get in the next weeks.

Morrowind was the last chapter. This one is in Summerset.

I was disappointed at the launch trailer, was kinda...lackluster compared to the Morrowind one. I didn't see jewelcrafting coming so that is a plus. Psijic Order skills sounds interesting so far. A new trial is also great, it's very important to keep raid content. I like the idea of Abyss Geysers, something like open group pve content. I think those are really nice and are fun in games like GW2 and Rift. I noticed they didn't include base game changes so there must be more goodies in the bag. I'm very happy at what we see so far but only after reading the patch notes for PTS we can be really sure how stuff will look like for reals.
