Problems with viewpoint in editor on ps4

Much frustration with this system as trying to place things in Sanctuary cavern but when click on to place, viewpoint drastically changes & can't see item properly anymore. Happens whether in 1st or 3rd, & and surface drag toggle doesn't make a difference.
Not sure if new or just wasn't an issue before. Only seems to happen with big items but it damn annoying!
Any idea for a work around?

I find this too. It's been happening for a few weeks at least. And I am on PC, so not a matter of platform but an ingame thing.

As you say, it's really frustrating.

I'm also on PS4 and have had similar issues in other houses as well, it seems to be a bigger issue lately but that may just be from me decorating more than I have in the past. Usually I just stop and go to something else for a while before I get too frustrated.

Shall attempt an in-game report & see if that throws any light.
