amusing gear combinations

i tend to hoard things.... gear in particularly, and every now and again play with different combinations.

a few days ago i stumbled on this combination for a stamplar....

5/5 unfathomable darkness and defiler.

for those that don't know the 5 piece bonus on defiler is the chance, on dealing crit damage, to spawn a hunger to attack your enemy. the bonus for unfathomable darkness is the chance, on doing damage, of spawning a murder of crows to attack your enemies.

the two happen together quite frequently, it's entertaining to watch.

anyone have any other interesting combos ?

For my NB I've been planning to do 2x Thurvokun, 5x Plague Slinger. Can't get close to me because of the expanding poison circle, can't run either since you'll still be hit by thrown poison.

I just use the Trainee Set. Can't be bothered to farm the mumbo-jumbo "BiS" gear anymore.

A friend ran Morihaus and Eternal Hunt for a while. Dodging into everything was fun.

Have a friend doing that at the moment. I would lock stuff down with Talons and watch them roll through everything.

We were grinding in Skyreach to get my tank's final levels. It worked alright.

I have Red Mountain and Skoria on a Dunmer DK. It's fun. Lots of fire and fury.

4 Pillar of Nirn, 4 Red Mountain for jewels and body, 1 bow of each set and 2 stormfist.
I use it on my archer sorc, deals quite a bit of damage with funny fireworks on pve.
