My console just deleted the whole game!!

I was doing the update. it froze at 2%. so I hit cancel update. it then decided to remove the whole game from my console. so now I have to download all 83GB on 4mps. there are no words to describe how I currently feel. today is not my day

    Well, see it this way; at least for one day you will be free of bugs, cheats, exploits, lag, etc., etc., etc. :D

    true but I engineered a night free of my other half to game for a few hours and now I'm cleaning the kitchen.....soooo bring on bugs, cheating, lag, exploits etc.haha

    You need to report this to ZoS support. It's extremely unusual for an update to "freeze", so there may be more going on.

    Though, at 4Mbs, what may have looked like "freezing" is more aptly described as so much downloading at a slow speed the progress bar (low priority) wasn't properly updating the actual process.

    Jeese my console only downloads at like 1.5mbs if lucky wireless ftw

    Yeah Xbox. it's mad, never happened to me either. next time I'll be patient and leave it lol
    and this is a close as I can get to ESO atm so I'll be here all night folks hsha

    I'm lucky, I just did the 11Gb update download earlier, and it took around 5 minutes, averaging 60Mbps. I have a 200Mb connection with Virgin Media in the UK though, on cable, and the Xbox is hardwired with ethernet to the router.

    Hey OP this just happened to me too (xbone) stopped at 212mbs, I tried pausing and unpausing, that didn't do anything. I hit cancel and the whole game was gone. Yay.........
    I have some characters, play the game and do stuff. It's fun sometimes.

    I think we found out who is behind your "corrupted patch".... and not it isn't microsoft or Zo$.

    I got myself a Kebab with chips and will chill. My mate just called and laughed, apparently Xbox does it intentionally to stop any files being corrupted or something like that. Just sucks.
    and yes, the other half will be delighted haha
