Requested Blade of Woe changes

Have Blade of Woe ignore the Prevent Attacking Innocent setting.

I have accidently attacked people by hitting a wrong button. No on accidently blade of woes something, unless you are woefully inattentive.

Does anyone see any downside to this?

Generally the types of people who use the Blade of Woe aren't the type of people who worry about attacking innocents.

Maybe i have a selective conscience.

This. I only use it for db contracts and the litany of blood, and I hate having to constantly change my settings

I mean, I too have mistakenly attaked innocents now and then.
    When I was woefully inattentive.

And I see no reason to change the way things are - either you don't attack innocents, then you don't go around doing murder contracts... or you Do attack innocents on occasion, and have your dark brother and sister characters murder people for fun and profit, and... live with the occasional blood price when you do sometimes get woefully inattentive.

and what is wrong with just making the change, how does it affect things negatively.

honest answer to your question, and not really trying to be snarky...
I feel, ultimately, you're asking the game to implement a system to take over for effort you'd have to expend yourself. and I can understand that - I mean, who *wouldn't* want the game to automagically take care of things I usually have to do for myself that I don't necessarily enjoy (like magically depositing stuff directly into my bank without me having to zone, interact with a banker, select each individual item I don't want, leave, realize I forgot one, have to go back, etc, etc)

but, I have to admit, while your request isn't TOTALLY unreasonable, I also don't think the current system is unreasonable either. We've got an either/or toggle right now, and that's pretty good - people who ARE comfortable with the idea of even OCCASIONALLY hurting innocents, have to be...more careful, about what they do, or switch from one mode to the other depending on what they're doing - it IS a little extra effort on your part, but I don't think it's THAT much to ask

plus, probably not hard to build a simple mod that can hotkey a toggle for turning on/off the attack innocents mode

More than once I mistakenly attacked a guard instead of doing something else.

But I chose to leave the setting on and take my changes.

If you don't want to mistakenly kill innocents then change your settings.

I'd rather live on the dangerous side :)
