Would you like alliance change token?

Many users started the game out on another faction, but after awhile they quit playing that alliance in Cyrodil, thus making that charachter only useful in pve or for crafting. This is where im at.

Overly bias poll is overly bias.

Ever since 1T, they should've just reworked PvP entirely; You select your Campaign, which Faction you wanted to join and you were stuck in that faction til the Campaign was over, rinse and repeat.

I see no reason that this shouldn't be the case and an Alliance change token would just be another cash grab I'm not willing to support.

If you wanted to make a strong argument for Alliance Tokens, this stupid poll was not the way to do it.

I think there should be a one time change with a patch or something. A lot has changed since I started playing and I'd love to play PvP with friends.

I think a token system would get abused tbh.

3 characters and the problem is solved, leaving 5 slots for other options

It is not like the early days when levelling to 50 took a while & then you had to level VR, now it only takes hours to get to 50 then you are at max (or your highest CP) instantly, so having 1 toon to roll with the current zerg is not effort what so ever!

it would simple be abused, if cheat engine which i used by certain guilds could find a way around to change on the fly they will do

I guess i should have added a couple more options. One for this is a stupid poll and isnt going to get you anything, lol.

I made this poll to keep this issue recent. Ive read almost every post on this and seen all the negative replies and why it should be ignored, like it shouldnt matter 1 character for each option etc. Which everyone deserves their opinion.

Truthfully I see the arguments like that people will abuse it, which i dont see happening, if they make it where you have to purchase the tokens, and if people do have the money, awesome it will help Zos with their bottom line and hopefully see a nice roi(return on investment).

We as players only look at whats best for us, but the business side needs to make sure the stockholders are happy otherwise the game will die.

And I am thinking about a whole DLC with a "cloak and dagger" theme, dealing with spycraft, betrayal, foreign agents and dark deals made in shadows (and possibly some involvement of Boethiah, since this would be right up her alley)... involving travels all over Tamriel, revisiting many places (possibly reusing one-time storyline maps with new mobs) and perhaps even some new small map, some neutral city where agents from all alliances meet to spy hard (think cold-war era vienna, or something liek that... possibly a post-mainstory Isle of Stirk? Or some other city-state that has not joined any of the alliances...) with a "faction loyalty called in question" plot, where your characters get to make a -BIG- choice:
- Do they stay loyal to their alliance and find out who framed them, hunting down the real culprit to prove their loyalty...
OR
- Do they take the opportunity to defect to greener pastures elsewhere?
With the rest of the questline being different depending on the choice made, one way you find out the truth, secure evidence of your innocence, and hunt down the real traitors, and the other way you court your desired alliance, grab some secrets to trade for your asylum along the way, and escape the agents sent to bring you in...
...bonus points for using familiar faces. I mean, I have a character or two who would love to slam a porticullis into Razun-dars face while they hop on a boat bound for morrowind with Naryu...

And there could be nifty titles for this too. Like "[original faction] Loyalist" and "[original faction] Defector", depending on which way each character chooses...
Obviously this would be a "one-time thing", so we wouldn't have serial defectors in Tamriel...

And on the PvP front... there could be drawbacks to "going traitor", like reduced AP gains for a while in your new alliance, or even requiring people to re-earn their current allaince rank before they get to advance any further; and obviously taking down a "defector" would be worth more to their erstwhile comrades; there even could be a daily "Hunt traitor" quest and a visual clue as to who is such in cyrodil while that quest was active, you know, because...

I have a toon in each faction, but now i only pvp in one faction. I have made new toons and power leveled them.

Factions shouldn’t require a token.
You should be unfactioned until you choose a campaign, once chosen it should be account wide until the campaign ends. Or until you pay to change campaigns like today.

Edit: It really has a huge impact if people were able to use tokens so that shouldn’t ever be a thing.

I dont see why not. Doesnt really affect anyone else. Unless for some reason your faction is looking for you to carry them to pvp glory, which seems sort of dumb.

I would like to see the ability to pick a campaign and be faction locked until the campaign ends then be free to switch. Reason being I have friends with characters in other alliances and we only PvE together for that reason. Yes you can have more than one character but honestly I just don't have enough time for that. I haven't played an alt in a long time.

Honestly, that sounds incredible. They'd have to make it so it couldn't be abused

Yes, They changed the game with One Tamriel, but left PvP as is. They need to update PvP to a "One Tamriel" model. Choose your alliance at the beginning of the campain. You're unable to change until the campaign ends. This will affect EVERY character on your account, so you can't "flip" to the winning side. This will also prevent people switching by logging in with a different character and spy on or unbalance the teams.
