Infinate black screen on eso64 launch

After I click Play on the launcher, screen goes black and stays that way. Zenimax logo does not appear. Have to Task Manager End Task. CPU usage is 0 at this point and only 9M od memory has been used.

Was working fine yesterday.

Any thoughts?

Try deleting your shadercache.cooked file under users\{yourname}\documents\Elder Scrolls Online\Live.

Did so, no difference. Also ran Repair option but again no difference.

Try to change in the settings ini file: SkipPregameVideos to 1 from 0 and see if skipping the intro can help.

Wish I had known about that option earlier, but no it did not change anything. Still stuck at black.

Did windows update so it no longer see eso.Exe as safe and you need to run eso as admin and that pop-up box to click it safe have not shown itself yet? Or the AV updated and now block?

I think repair does this automatically but try to delete usersettings file?

Setting launcher and eso64 as admin did not change anything. AV already had launcher and eso64 as trusted applications.

Everything works again and I've done nothing. Game must have been hungover yesterday.
