combat in Cyrodiil... or lack of

So this is happening at least 2 - 3 times in an evening of playing and in random locations with either NPC's or players in castles or resource around the castles and just now in open field combat. I will get one attack off then I can no longer use any abilities, I will go through a half animation for each skill I am trying to use and this will last until I run far enough away from the point where this is happening.

TO BE CLEAR ITS NOT A NEGATE BEING USED... others around me are continuing to use their abilities and as long as I stay I would guess 30 meters from where this is happening to me as long as I stay there I wont be able to use any skills. I will need to move far enough away from where this happens regain the use of skills, I can then go right back to where I was and everything is fine again.

Yeah, combat mechanics have been bad for a while now in PvP. I can't keep count on how many times I have died or been bested when my skills were misfired, delayed and same with trying to swap weapon; particularly more so involving a group of 10 or more, or zerg on zerg fighting. Same with winning. I can't seem to consciously accept that I have bested those guys without them also experiencing some similar skills failures or malfunction. I'm not sure how many fights have actually been won by any with no combat mechanic deficiency.

since the dragon bones update PVP has been preforming very very badly. i experience all of those issues as well, often the same time as an opponent, we both will just stand still not doing anything for a second or 2. Weapon swap is now a bit more reliable since they patched it but activating a skill quickly between weapon swaps is often impossible, cant shield stack without shields all being on the same bar. i find myself doing long slow presses of the keys to make sure it gets the command.
I started a a post about these issues myself a while ago as well.
Just hope we will see some serious performance improvements soon.

Yea its getting ugly, I don't even want to play anymore. just now I ran in to fight some people and other around me and others are using skills but I cant cast a damn thing and Zenimax says absolutely nothing about it so I guess they just going to knowingly keep collecting money for a broken ass game.

Canceled my sub for this game just now.

My hat is off to the pvp players of eso. I ran my pve tank into pvp land due to the fact that some of the pvp skills are requested for trials runs (lets just leave that part out for now, can’t get started on it)
I came to the bug report section of this forum to search for an explanation in regards to weapon swap not functioning, skills not firing and just plain old watching my toon look confused doing nothing while he is being ganked by yet another NB (btw, to the guy who spent 5 mins trying to kill me and then t bag me after I backed into a Zerg... that was awesome. Reals tho it was a fun experience trying to just survive that long using just rapid maneuver and green dragon blood)
I’m not sure how you all handle it.i Get it though, you want to enjoy the pvp side of this game. It’s gorgeous and on paper, a ton of fun. The play field is HUGE, Keep seiges and giant open field battles vs opponents capable of abstract thought.., fun in the making.i could see myself rolling up a NB and playing daily... but...
Can anything be done about the lag tho?
After experiencing the DC fest that is trials, I’m wondering if I bought another library addition to my PS4 catalog.
Any word from the dev? Just an old game on aging servers? Should I move on?
