I was innocently stealing from backpack and chest and stabbing this nord and then the wall ate me!

    when you kill npcs that have spun around to spidey sense you already, the game will often teleport you to be behind their initial bearings, so if they were against a wall you end up inside of it..

    It's the Blade of Woe animation doing that when it moves you into an object because of the animation. There is a house in Daggerfall where I "borrow" items from and if I kill the woman in front of the book shelves with the blade I get stuck in them and the floor as I lunge forwards.

    yes, I've had this happen to me many times. Its the animation when done too closely to furniture and walls. I've gotten stuck in tables, cabinets, walls, benches... I have had to get into the habit of cancelling the BoW animation by hitting C right after X and going into the character UI (I suppose other methods would work, this is just the one I go with).

    When I was harassed by a sexist, racist troll in-game, ZOS did nothing to the player and only told me to add that person to my ignore list. When I called ZOS a mean name that called their ethics into question on the forum, they muted me and threatened to ban me.

    I've had this happen on occasion when my target of BOW was too close to an object. I have ended up in a sealed box, a wall as well and a kitchen counter.

    Two Daedric Princes agree, not the Guar. Poor Guar gets the blame on everything.

    I once fell into a fireplace in Anvil when I used the blade of Woe. At least you can get back out by using your map and teleporting to a Wayshrine or I'd still be stuck! :D

    Any sort of animation that moves your toon can do this. Ambush once landed me directly inside a tree in grahtwood, BoW regularly sticks me in furniture, and on one memorable occasion, in a knee-high wall.

    I've never forced a lock except on rare occasions, perhaps twice ever, on accident when button mashing. I, of course, failed as this was long before the Legerdemain passive.

    I really only stop at all the treasure chests because I genuinely like picking the locks.

    I've mostly gotten stuck in bookcases after using my BoW, but once I got stuck in an empty fruit/vegetable crate on the floor in a house in Daggerfall. Couldn't even jump to get out of it.
