Improve Transmute Crystals

I am tired of doing Vet undaunted(hard) and getting a purple Transmute Crystal and only getting 1 crystal out of it. If I am doing the challenge, I expect a proper reward!

I suggest this:
Green:1-2
Blue:2-4
Purple:4-7
Gold:10-25

Just because there are Crystals does not mean the grind went away.

And, there are more efficient ways to earn crystals.

But your still going to have to put the work in.

Im already drowning with geodes in my bank are you transmuting every armor pcs? i seriously recommend to just farm the right pieces on the right trait and then just transmute if you know youve alreadys spent long enough on grinding such gear, transmute crystals is not a means to finish your grind its just an aide, a support so you woulndt lose your sanity farming over and over again

Just do a little PVP. I have a full 200 crystals, plus loads more in geodes in my inventory.

I put 8 toons in pvp get to tier 3 in the 30 day and leave them be after that 400 crystal at the end of campaign TY and much more if you just keep playing pvp I have over 5k I can't even use or open

I didn't even know you COULD get more than one before last week, when I finally got two for an undaunted daily.

I am not having a problem grinding them... I have to keep transmuting things to not slam into the cap.

But I do a mix of activities.

I ran a normal and a vet dungeon when these first came out and got 1 crystal out of each. I immediately went to PVP , where the minimum tends to be 4 in a geode, and have never looked back. My very first PVP session, opening all mails as I received them, netted me over 50 crystals.

Depending on what is happening in PVP I can get up to 10 or more Rewards emails in a PVP session. Having one of these with a guaranteed geode a day and usually another every 3rd or 4th mail gives me more geodes than I could see myself using.

You also get purple geodes from end of campaign rewards if you are on tier 3 (every 7 days if doing the short campaigns). I have received some 25 crystal geodes and several 15 crystal geodes. I have already used somewhere around 600-800 crystals and still have a full stack of 200.

Every 20k AP you earn, you get a Reward of the Worthy mail. The first one opened in a 24 hr period is a guaranteed gold geode (4 to 25 crystals). After that, RotW have a chance to drop more geodes. So if you get multiple, it might be better to open them one at a time over several days to get the guaranteed geodes.

You can also get crystals from the end of the campaign rewards from your home campaign by reaching tier one (25k AP). The 7 day campaigns give 10 crystals, the 30 day campaigns give 50 crystals.

If you rank high enough in the campaign to get the second end of campaign mail (top 10%?), that also has a geode.
End of campaign rewards are per character that reached the tier 1 rewards. RotW mails only give the guaranteed geode for the first mail opened on a day per account.

Well thats some crap. I dont pvp lol. Pve is a huge grind for them. Sounds like it rains them over there

If you are halfway decent at making AP in Cyrodiil, yes, its pretty easy to get crystals.

i don't think it's really "crap." it's nice that PvP's been thrown a bone though. right now i'm doing some dungeons (even though i don't really like dungeons) because it's the only way to get a set i want to try out. i'm not having fun doing it (although healing in PvE seems a LOT easier than healing in Cyrodiil) but it's nice that i pretty much only have to farm the pieces, and then i'm able to re-trait them easily. it seems fair.

I get one 50 geode a month on roughy 90 minutes of pvp. I'll be out there Friday night if you want someone in pve gear to farm, just come find me. Last time I forgot that Briarhart just isn't the same if you leave it as a 4 piece set with the bow the entire time. One time I did get the 25 from the rftw rng geode. That meant 75 crystals on 90 minutes of play. I am too embarrassed to group and I feel a huge sense of obligation to the group if I do end up in one. That's too stressful. So I just ride around, find conflict, spam aoes and rez someone any chance I get. If I can get crystals, so can you.

Fellow pvers, lets not qq on this. If it wasn't for the pvp folks, I'm not sure we would have the system at all. While they rake in the crystals in cyrodil, they have no chance at dungeon or trial gear. So when you get that divines or sturdy drop that you wanted, remember, that's worth 50 crystals.

Calm down youngling, let me explain. Yes, we give them the items they seek but at abysmal drop rates in PVE content. Second, you make the desired items drop way way WAY more in Cyrodiil. Thirdly you set arbitrary goals they must reach to get even MORE of the desired item, i.e. forcing to them to participate in a few battles with a large group or find it nearly impossible or cost prohibitive to obtain them alone. This gives them an opportunity to Enjoy Cyrodiil and experience things with their new friends.

Ah, Youngling you still have so much to learn. This is not the end, NEXT you must tighten the screws on the PVE players by including a color coding system that makes ZERO sense. 1 item for green, 5 items for blue, then between 1 and 5 for Purple, but the best part is. . . its in the code to almost NEVER allow them to get more than 1 for purple. Now for PVPers the sweetest Cherry, we do the same for Legendary Gold items, a chance at up to 25, but we only reward our NOOB killers with that jucy tid bit, an easy enough feat to acomplish with the algorithm RNG9001!

Yeah, its totally about forcing PVE players into PVP. Same with letting people buy storage containers for Tel Var. It couldn't possibly be because ZOS actually listened to the pleas of PVPers who hate having to do PVE content for once.

I have been running dungeons to get geodes and if I do a HM and end up with one crystal it makes me sad a little tiny bit. A quick normal run will net you that.

Is PVP the only way to get a gold geode? have only just heard of these. I would say there should be a PVE equivalent but it would probably involve VMA. EEEEK.

Not sure what it was, then, unless it'd been pulled off a previous end of campaign/PVP leaderboard reward. The RotW only go from 4 to 25 and the Leaderboards for trials don't give 50 crystals.

My inventories are clogged with geods from pvp. Probably 1000+ crystals worth. Every once in a while I'll transmute something just so I can open some geods and clear inventory space.

no I just started back playing on ps4 I got them like 2 days before I opened it could of been a bug for letting it sit my bag

Transmute crystals are a way to ease the grind, not to replace it. 25k AP earned in Cyrodiil will get you a 50 coffer awarded at the end of the campaign, each trial will give 5 per week when you do the trial just once every 7 days. Dungeon bosses (not guaranteed though) and daily pledges give coffers. They are not hard to acquire at all and unless you are burning through them frivolously then you should have plenty at hand, infact you will have a problem preventing going overcap..
