Question about outfits and dyes

So right now I'm rocking a sweet hat/wedding suit combo that I dyed red with a dye I had in my bank from the Canada Day/Independence Day event a while ago. It looks awesome.

However, I'm looking at the leprechaun green dye in the CS right now, and previewing it on the same hat/wedding suit combo, it looks sweet.

May quuestion is this: if I use the outfit station to make an actual OUTFIT, is it possible to have multiple dyed versions of the same costume? Like could I have the red suit as one outfit, and the green suit as another outfit? Or will dyeing my costume green - even if it's in a separate outfit slot - overwrite the red dye forever?

Dyes are a one time consumable thing, once used , they're gone

Right, I know they're one-time, which is why I'm asking if a separate outfit slot gives me a separate "instance" of the same costume so I can have one "instance" that saves the red dye and one "instance" I can dye green.

Costumes are not Outfits. You cannot dye the Wedding Suit with the Outfit tab. If there were armor pieces that looked like what you wanted (there aren't any really civilian garb armor pieces, not really, but IF there were) you could assemble them in the Outfit slot and dye them (paying gold to apply armor piece and dye), then choose whether to display Costume or Outfit.

If you are able to achieve enough dyes close to the shades you want, and you have ESO Plus, then you can freely swap your costume dyes at an Outfit Station. Otherwise, sadly, you cannot toggle back and forth without consuming a dye stamp every time.

I know I can swap costume dyes; are you saying that ESO Plus allows me to swap colours from the 1-time dye stamps too?

Also, does the outfit station work with the civilian clothing you can get from stealing?
