How would these 2 work together? do they?

Specifically, will at anytime will those bonuses stack and give me 40% off something?

Curse Eater set: Reduces the duration of all negative effects applied to you by 20%.

Robes of the Hist set: Reduces the duration of all disabling effects applied to you by 20%. While you are affected by a disabling effect, heal for 2000 Health every 1 second.

Essentially, there may be minor differences but I suggest doing a bit of thinking on this as even I have no Idea at this time.
If you see me anywhere. Know that I am sitting back with a bag of popcorn, watching as ESO burns the goodwill of its player base with practices that only disrespects the players time like it did to me and many others...

If a game does not respect your time, best thing to do is move on from it and find something else.

don't have the buff/debuff link at the moment - but, is either 20% negative effect duration reduction and 20% disabling effect reduction a thing buff wise

Do you have access to PTS, @generalmyrick?

Suggest giving it a try there ... where you’re not penalized for the gear investment.

Either they work where the percentage is calculated against the base value or each 20% reduces the left over time.

My guess, it functions like cost reduction on Ultimates; reduction off base value.

    Question....

The Maim is negative and the stun(no control) part is disabling. How it work with the sets, no idea.

    ***conducting tests now***

it does seem that curse and hist sap work together on disabling effects. still testing, i need a nb to fear me so i can get a more definitive measure.

the fear from ghosts in skyreach is too short.

Test it with a guard in Cyro. Their shieldbash stuns you for ~ 30 sec if you don't take damage afterwards iirc

i believe anything that makes you lose all control except break free if you have stam for it.
    ============

i was thinking that a "disabling effect" qualified as a "negative effect"...same as a "status effect" is a "negative effect."
