Especially the French-speaking group in the Black Forge tonight. When another player tells you they are on the quest...

1. You do remember you're in a quest area?
2. Don't act like I'm stealing your XP when I run over to get some kills. Or did you forget there's a quest?
3. I understand French. I also know far worse swear words than you were using.
4. If I decide to report you for harassment... mudballs won't break me out of the REPORT screen.

So next time this happens just let me get my kills for the quest, mmmmk?

    You forgot

    5. Call 25 friends and guildmates to come "help" on the quest for a few hours, messing up whatever rotation and xp those grinders might be getting.

You do understand that grinders round up every enemy in the area before killing them? So that's not "playing the game" - that's grinding. Get your XP fine, but if people need kills to complete the quet area you're monopilizing... well, maybe you should be reported. Don't block other people from playing the game.

I usually ask if person is grinding aswell, if not, i ask them to wait a couple secs so they can use and aoe and get some xp boost while questing.
People usually join me for couple rotations and be done with their quest meanwhile.

I don't think getting 3-5k xp less for 5 minutes is a dealbreaker. Sue me.

I need to find a better way of leveling up. To get my healer up to 50 I just spammed random dungeons. Obviously its not really time efficient to do that with a nightblade DD. Any suggestions?

I will not subject myself to quests i've already done multiple times.

I've been grinding -ahem- farming a monster trophy the last days on a delve with a daily quest associated and all those dang questers keep running in killing everything and leaving me to run circles in the delve time and time again with nothing to kill. It kind of goes both ways.

When I don't want to quest I run skyshards - Do all the delves, public dungeon, and ride the zone for the other skyshards. Kill anything you come accross. Dolmen are another fast way to level, and you won't be annoying others. :)

I once had someone complain I "Ruined" their enemy rotation when I was on a quest, and I was "stealing" exp, while I was just passing through.
I gathered all enemies to the center of the room, dropped every AOE I had, and dropped an ult. I did that again and again and again until the enemy spawns were so messed up that the "farming" group couldn't get a damned thing done.
They left, I finished my quest, the world was once again Whole.

Sometimes, you just need to mark your territory, right?

Or ya know tag them for an assist and still get the 5 health ball things. What I do if people grind there..... And no, that does not deserve a report. What would justify your report would be the harassment, not grinding. Jesus.
Difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 25 DLCs. 41 game changing updates including A Realm Reborn-tier overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver&Gold as a "you think you do but you don't"-tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game.

Last time I was in Spellscar there was two guys there grinding so I just followed their route and we all killed together. It's worth noting I was on my max level Magblade so I can drop a destro ulti every pull, so my dps was more than theirs by far. From the moment I started they insulted me every few minutes trying to get me to leave. From my point of view overland is for everybody so I couldn't care less what they say, I stuck around until my XP potion was done.

Right at the end of my grind one of the guys died, I said "lol" and ran over and teabagged him. He was sooo mad, it made my day.

Agreed. The harassment and bad language is an appropriate reason for reporting. Merely grinding in a quest area is not. Otherwise we'd better all stop grinding in Spellscar.

I agree. also, if you're grinding by not ever leaving an NPC up... when someone needs to do the quest, please skip a group so they can get the kills they need. Easy.

Also, please stop assuming that women heal. It's kinda hard to "tag' people with health balls on a MagDK.

Ah, that wasn't me talking about healing, I think that was the person I was responding to. My assists to grinders tend to come in the form of Shrouded Daggers or Poison Injection, myself.

If you are a magblade, equip a resto staff and siphoning skills and go as healer. It's a lot of fun to heal others via killing things.

I actually think I met someone like that in Spellscar, not a french dude just regular english speaking, or rather screaming in whispers that I was stealing HIS kills and I should either join the group or frog off. hey man, I was just there to chill, to experience the atmosphere and kick some bloodfiends around and then they go all professional on me man. crazy players.

The health ball things for the quest - which you gather the Health, Stamina and Magicka essences for Vanus Galerion... They are balls that float around you, and in that area they are his Health Essences - IIRC there are 5 of each.

"Also, please stop assuming that women heal." Never said anything in relation to that. Maybe you should re-take basic reading comprehension?

I money farm in crimson cove... a public dungeon. I don't get mad at people for messing up rotations. As upset I get is if they go and use a merchant in an area that is not safe (enemies spawn where they are selling at) I redirect them to a safer place if they need it. I will try to keep them safe ish but make no promise that I can safely keep them safe.

Log on a nightblade drop destro ults in random places during their mob gathering process. Watch them squirm, rage and eventually log off or move somewhere. For quicker results bring more nightblades from friends or guildies. Have had similar stuff happen when was helping a friend do her craglorn quests. Was fun trolling the crap out of those arrogant pricks.

It's "monopolizing", and are you seriously suggesting to report grinders?
Mob respawn time is sufficiently fast in quest zones, and you can always simply tag the mobs necessary for your roleplay and get the objective done.

Also, wouldn't you be blocking other people from playing the game by reporting them for inane reasons?
