If you have over 800 gems, ZOS is quite happy with what they're getting out of you currently. From their point of view, why change anything?

Personally I think radiant mounts should be sold for 800 gems shows you really want it without having to gamble a few hundred bucks

I agree with this, those mounts have a ridiculous drop rate. however 800 gems? how much does that mount equal then? I have spent quite a bit on crown crates and have got mounts in a few of them, however I have never got the special mounts, nor do I have 800 gems!! wwoowww

Haha, I opened 250 crates and I got no rare apex mount. Just the frostbane bear, frostbane wolf and the regular sabercat and got 3500 gems. So, I just ended up buying the great elk and frostbane saber cat.

Casinos will give you the actual odds of winning too. ZOS feels no such ethical compulsion to do so.

Honestly, I would agree with everyone's anger over the crown crates if they actually gave you an in game advantage.

I just don't see the need to get upset when all of the items are cosmetic. Even the potions and scrolls that can drop are all things you can obtain or make in game.

Yes, it's a way for ZoS to make money. But they've done it in a way that doesn't make their game pay to win, which I really appreciate.

If some of us want to spend our money on a chance to get cosmetic items with no real use, then that's fine. If you don't want to then just don't.

Realistically they would be a chance at one of the four, for 2500 gems.
