What does everyone save their crown gems for?

I have 200 from free crates so far. If they don't give any more scale caller, i.e. from a free ESO+ event, I will buy the dragon priest costume.

I was ready to go get the "flip the bird" emote until I saw it and was disappointed. If they ever really add an emote that allows us to give someone the finger, I'll spare a few gems for that.

I saved all of mine for the leopard senche which I managed to get from free crates during a different time. Now I'm saving all until something else that I really really want is available-I have 41 now.

I only get them from the free crates, so it is slow for me as well. My ESO Plus crowns go to specific costumes and pets I want, not to rng. I finally got over 100 gems this past set, at the cost of not keeping the pretty Peryite banner. I'd wanted the black camel for a very long time and went for it. If I'd had 200 gems, I'd have had to painfully choose between camel and Yokudan motif, as I don't make a lot of gold and my one foray into Craglorn dailies thus far yielded no motif pages, thus discouraging me for a while.

At least I mostly just want chest and legs, so I can steal up a storm and save towards buying those two.

Meanwhile I'm down to 9 gems so it's probably 3 more seasons before I can spend any on something I want.

I've finally managed to save up 100 gems from the free crates (I refuse to buy them) but I don't know whether to spend them! What if I spend them and then there's something amazing in the next season? Should I have bought the Leopard Senche mount from last season? Oh God, its too much, I can't cope! I like the Peryite Statue and the flaming scamp thing though...

I never buy crates so I've only got gems from the free ones and honestly I've not even been saving those, I just haven't found anything I wanted in the crates that I hadn't already bought when it was first released. Or at least nothing I wanted enough to spend the gems on it.

Now the elk mount is out I'm hoping I can get another 37 gems from the 3 fire crates from levelling rewards so I'll be able to afford it. I liked it when it was first released but not enough to spend £24 on it. But if I can get it for free I'll be very happy.

I have just a small amount of them. At some point, when I get enough from free crates I will buy some pet or mount. Maybe a mask or hat.

Maybe one day two moments will coincide: I have 400+ gems and Storm Atronach Horse is available for purchase again. For now, I just gather gems from the free Crown crates.
