"Admire Me" emote

I recently purchase an ‘Admire Me” personality and excitingly set off to Cyro thinking I can use it after a good battle for some bragging rights.
I soon discovered that you cannot use it if anyone is still fighting near or around you.
Can any devs confirm if this is a bug or intended, because if it was intended then what use is it if you cannot use it when needed?

My bad sorry, hower my point still stands. When I want to use it and someone is fighting nearby then the screen flashes red and "cannot be uses at this time".
Scenario: you 1vX, an accomplishment in itself, so you look on the bodies of your sworn slayed enemies and hit the ‘Admire me” (similar to Tarzan beating his chest) and…. Ooh sorry you can’t use this whilst in battle.
WTf , crowns down the toilet.
So what is the point of paying for an emote if you cannot use it for it's intended purpose?
Maybe the devs can look into this matter and perhaps change it so that it can be used durring battles.
