Big ol' 1st world problem.

Mazzatun Light Chests is in my opinion the best looking top available in the game. The material dyes nicely, it's modestly revealing, and it even gives you a nice little cloth belt without needing to wear the Style's actual belt. But I refuse to wear it because that bird skull is a crime against fashion. I understand it's there because Mazzatun is an Argonian cultural style but it's the ONE single thing that stands out from the rest of the piece. The next best thing for achieving this look is a Level 1 Bosmer Medium Chest, and that's not nearly as refined nor dye friendly.

I'd also like to note that this: https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/356677/the-female-breast-slider-mazzatun-chests is still a thing.

On the plus side, the new Scalecaller Motif that's coming has a pretty neat Chest style, but that's not coming for months.

I literally am not capable of agreeing more.
Revealing armors that dye well are so rare as to be nonexistant, and the mazzatun light chest is perfect, except for that dang bird skull. The mazzatun medium chest is ok, but it doesnt dye great, too shiny, and the little claw things on the chest bug the crud out of me.

anyway, +1 from me, more revealing chest options that dont dye like they are made of plastic wrap!

I feel many motives actually look the same

But on the other hand, seems very few options like mazzatun

100% agree, use heavy (and haven't bothered with paying to make an outfit) because I can't stand the skull sticking way out

"Lizard folk have no sense of fashion. I mean look how many a Sorcerer looked forward to the outfit system just to hide that hideous looking Necropotence set. At least the other nwah can dress decently, so we won't put them in shackles and send them to pick up saltrice on the plantation" [in thick Southern Vvardenfell accent]

Didn't even notice the bird skull until you pointed it out.

Now I can't see anything except the bird skull.

    Pff
Check them out on Khajiit Robe/Jerkin 4.
Those things are like 1 meter in width.

To be honest, most "hip shields" range from meh to nice, but the Khajiit 4 is absolutely hideous. And it doesn't dye too well.

I've recently acquired Mazzatun Chests, and because most of my characters use light armor, I wanted to use the light version of the chestpiece. However, the skull was the killer for me, so I use either medium or heavy. Heavy is good when you're looking for a more beefy look, as it has many decorations that make the character look barbaric, but if you're just looking for a good looking top, medium is the way to go. It doesn't dye to well, so you're mostly just stuck with different shades of brown, but not many colors go well with pink, so it doesn't matter much to me:

I used to settle for Mazzatun Medium, but it's got more issues than the Light. Those bones on the hips, the material is way too shiny, and that Medallion is the same exact issue as the bird skull, albeit even a little worse cause that thing grows in size with a character's breast size.
