The master's bow increases your weapon damage by 301 against targets effected by your poison arrow.

if you have a master bow back bar, and use poison injection, does the bonus still apply if you bar swap to dual wield? Will your dual wield attacks gain the 301 weapon damage against the poisoned target?

Yes. As long as the poison injection hits when you're still on our back bar, you're good. Problem in PvE is usually that rotations are longer than the ten seconds of poison injection.. Hail lasts 12 seconds, caltrops lasts 12 seconds etc.

This is the main issue with master bow, because you lose about 16-20% uptime.

Endless Hail lasts 10 seconds, same as Poison Inject. It's Razor Caltrops that lasts 12 seconds.

The main issue with Master Bow is it only affects one target (unless you inject multiple enemies) so single target DPS is good but cleave is bad, hence the Maelstrom Bow is best in PvE.

No, Hail lasts 12 (11.5 to be accurate) it has a windup animation and then starts dealing damage after a 1.5 second delay.

Well, if Arrow Garbage (Barrage) offered good alternative to endless hail in nonvma bow situations (obv the longer one will always outdps the shorter one with the bow) it could be interesting.
