Guild Themed Mounts?

The mounts right now in ESO are cool. But considering we got alliance war horses, maybe the next step could be guild mounts!
Clarification, I do not mean for the guilds we players made. I mean for the 5 main guilds.

Fighters Guild mount.
Mages Guild mount.
Thieves Guild mount.
Dark Brotherhood mount (Shadowmere! Or something like that.)
Undaunted mount.

I am very curios what you all think about this. Considering we got Shadowmere in both Oblivion and Skyrim why not in ESO as well? Though I suppose it would make it a bit boring if everyone rode around on a Shadowmere mount. That would make it a less unique mount. Alright no Shadowmere, but still a Dark Brotherhood themed mount.


What are your thoughts?

I miss Shadowmere. But, honestly I would be happy with any mount as long as they're Dark Brotherhood themed.

It's a great idea. BUT, purchasable with in-game gold perhaps after reaching certain achievements within the guilds. NOT shoved in crates or in the crown store for a ridiculous amount of money

I plan on using that scalecaller senche for my dark brotherhood character if I'm lucky enough to get it, black sabretooth senche with glowing red eyes and red armor/coverings.

I wouldn't mind something undaunted themed though

Huh, honestly I never noticed the insignia's on those two. xD And I sadly never got the doom wolf.
But still, more guild themed mounts. I don't really picture that camel as a real official thieves guild mount. Maybe a senche tiger, since the thieves guild is all about stealth and crime. Cats are stealthy, camels..not so much.

Agreed. If I get that senche I am using it for my Khajiit Nightblade. That Senche just looks sooo freaking awesome!

Would be cool if they added guild themed mounts as a reward for some new guild quest line. Or some guild achievement. It would not be so fun if it was crown store or crown crates only, nope. I'd settle for buying them with gold to, as long as it wasn't like 1 million gold.

No, the camel fits very well, considering where the thieves guild is based.
After all, mounts are not about being stealthy, they are about getting from one place to another... when stealth is asked for, even the best riders go on foot, right?

...unless we stopped talking about theives,a dn started talking about militaty units.
Though for those, I'd want to see another batch of "alliance mounts", but ones that do not just change baldric colors, but also type... perhaps even "racial mounts", senche for khajiit, guar for argonians, nix-ox for dunmer, and so on...

...and if the game had stayed subscription-powered, that would have been reasonable.
But that ship has sailed, been set fire to and sunk a long time ago.

These days, if they pay some code-jockey to make a new mount, they will want to see some profit from it. So either it will be in the crown store, or it will be part of some DLC as one of the final rewards for some trial or whatnot.

Personally I would be happy enough if all the mounts became available in the crown store (or an in.game vendor who takes your crowns) regardless of seasonal considerations for those who finished all the guild achievements... But then, I already have the doom wolf for my main, and thus am content. (still want a "librarian mage-boy" themed mount for my second main though... something "dark magic" themed but not too grand... oh, well, in time, perhaps...)

I would like this if, and only if, you were not allowed to be all of them at once. Which would make you wanna have multiple characters, each with his own story.

You are in the Fighters, Mages, Thieves, Dark. And on top of that you probably are also an abomination (which is a paradox, if you are in the Fighters(. Really... they should be exclusive, or almost.

Fine idea, don’t care one way or another. What I would like is a small way to customize all mounts for your alliance. For example I got the imperial mount during the reward box event. I like it but it’s got red cloth under the armor and I’m DC. It’s pains me.

But on the other hand, "player guild" mounts... that could be very awesome. It could simply be the ability to put your guilds livery (tabard design) onto your mounts, similar to how the alliance horse looks

Yeah I'd like the mounts you've suggested but would also like mounts you could earn in game like a horse pulled chariot for getting Emp or a Dungeon/Trial themed mount for finishing it on a certain difficulty

Last I checked, you could still buy the Doom Wolf via a promotion in Elder Scrolls Legends. If you pick up the Dark Brotherhood expansion there, you get a Doom Wolf code for ESO. The real kicker is that their Dark Brotherhood expansion is actually cheaper than the Doom Wolf was in ESO.

Alright anyways...heh.
I just feel there should be like real guild mounts. Like yeah something for the Undaunted. I don't see realistically how we could ride around on a troll, but something brutish.
