Bear respawns when killed. (forced animation)

Not sure if its a bug but its dam annoying and makes using bear impossible in PVP
So on a mag warden using the bear and it gets killed - mag warden is then forced into a summoning bear animation for 2.5 seconds.
While taking damage i cant afford to be doing this waving my arms about rubbish, often being forced into block cancelling the animation and carrying on with my fight bearless.
So the magic morph of this ability actually dose nothing other than force you to re-summon it, This is just a hindrance and often results in death, not just in PVP, but even intense PVE dungeons.
isn't it supposed to automatically re summon, with no animation?
