Dying Bosmer Medium Armor

I'm having trouble trying to figure out how to dye medium Bosmer armor without defaulting to black. Anyone have any suggestions?

use common dyes whenever possible.
All the racial motifs dye horrifically, and go super super shiny with pretty much every uncommon or rare dye. The rank material dyes work alright as well, though ymmv. The Rank 8 material dye on the first dye slot looks decent, a little glossy but not plastic wrap shiny like most other dyes.

Also what kinds of dyes do you have access to? Try mixing some greens and browns for now, see if that tickles your fancy.

IDK how you can get natural black leather. >.> But yeah definitely go with just... lots of brown, then.

This dye thing is one of my major disappointments. Drives me bonkers trying to figure out what works well with what. I especially "like" the material dyes. The colour of the square for many of them seems to bear no resemblance to what it looks like on the materials.

Maybe I just need to dye more stuff and get the hang of it.

Came to the thread and expected a rant on why bosmer in medium armor are not feasible in pvp anymore...

I was disappointed.
