Zenimax, Please, make smaller "limited time" houses for magica char ! (and poor players)

I must admit i'm in love with the Erstwhile Sanctuary, and i'll probably buy it using 1 year of accumulated subscriber coins .
But... i would have been MUCH happier if that house was half its current size ! The entrance hall with its cosy libary on the side, and then the awe-inspiring main cavern and its glass window, that would be my prefered home in Tamriel ever !
The pilared low ceiling rooms beyond ? not so awesome , not much trilled with the cascade either, and anyway, MY CHARACTER RUNS OUT OF STAMINA half way there ...
You can't ride in houses, but you still need stamina for running in them, so for magika char like most of mine, a huge house is a punishment, not a treat !

So please Zenimax dev team, take into account players with less grandiose ambitions, and next time, offer a more reasonnably sized house for sale !

Some of the larger houses at least outside of the building might not be bad to ride a horse in but caves not so much. Why does one need to run/ride in a house anyway? Seems a bit silly riding inside of a house....and just think of the droppings and staining your carpets marking floors with claws and hooves.

Well, living in a cave, stains are almost inevitable.

I'm hoping for an end to limited-time, crown-only housing. Let people buy what they want, how they want. Crowns and gold.

You can always "plug" the entrance ways with some rocks, cave formations, etc, to get the "smaller home" feel and keep the caverns.

Honestly, just more special/fancy houses that aren't large/manor houses would be nice.

I have one large decorated house, and don't have the creative stamina to do another. I've had fun decorating some apartments, though....

Some nice themed small houses would be an easy sell, imo.

From your mouth to ZOS's ears! Any of the in game towers that scatter the landscape would be so cool.

Also, yes to smaller houses. For example Grand Linchal manor - the barn on that property is just the right size for a cute Imperial house on the Gold Coast. Or more event released modest homes like the Glenumbra hut.

I've got the island - being able to ride a mount there would be useful! Takes me an age to run from one end to the other...

How poor is poor?

Meaning are you looking for something under 1K gold... 10K... 100K

You can get up to 3 'free' homes that are interior only but and have very limited housing slots, but you can make them 'look magical' with the right furniture.

Similarly there are 3 Apartment homes that are 'interior only and can be purchased for between 11K and 13K in game gold.

Again this have a generic stone look that can be decorated to look magical with the right furniture.

The next step up is probably 'Black Vine Villa' that goes for 54K in game gold. Is a small home that I believe has a small exterior 'yard' and a single room interior, but it has a stone gothic look to it that can be augmented with the right furniture.

If you can spring for 1.26mill gold, 'Quondam Indorilia' is large mulit story gothic style building that I have seen several player convert into very creepy necromancer/vampire/magical houses.

But if you are looking for the Elder Scrolls traditional Mushroom embedded towers... I think their is only 1 option.

You should check out some YouTube videos from FreeTaility called 'ESO Cribs' he does walk thoughts of some really nicely decorated houses that other player have put together. Some a quite amazing and many have a very 'magical' vibe.

It is usually more about the furniture and creativity of the decorator than it is about the base house that was used. Some players have done amazing things with even the 'Free' tiny rooms.

I am really hoping for an Ald Velothi type house for Summerset. Meaning a decent size house with some quality new furniture a nice garden and view. Ald Velothi is a real bargain IMO.
