Off line character view

Do you think we should have or will ever have a way to view our characters off line or on the web site? What would you like to see if ZoS implemented something like this? I would like to see current slotted gear and a player skill tree.

I was thinking more along the lines of character list in side our personal account setting on the web site. So, they would only be visible to the owner.

This would be a cool feature. Even though i only played Destiny 2 for like 3 days I really liked the mobile app they had. Would be great if ESO had something similar.

So far I only encountered this in Aion. Always liked that feature. Then you could take a picture and use that for your forum avatar.

Edit: No wait, it's been a long time - Wow has something similar, right?

Vanguard had this as well, or maybe it was a Sony Online feature.

It's not really needed, unless you can like update Outfits and stuff like that while your there.

Yes, WoW had the Armory but your character was available for everyone to see.

Yes, WoW had the Armory but your character was available for everyone to see.

Right. I don't think that part is necessary.

Being able to see all of our inventory while offline would be really nice.

For PC you can use this site to upload your characters and guild stats to view off line

Well, for me, I have several days during the week where I am not at work and not at home but I have an hour and half with nothing to do but wait. It would be nice to use this time to look at current builds and plan new builds. So, that when I actually get home to login, I can play the game instead of planning builds.

The UESP Build Editor is perfect for you then. I have used it to Theory Craft if farming a new set is going to be all that helpful or not. Sad thing is, most of the time, what I have is 97% to 99% of the new Meta, whatever that maybe this week. So, saves me a lot of farming efforts.

I have looked at that but you would still have to have access to your game client to get the information on your characters.

I'd like an app where you could view your character, and choose your outfits.

Could link directly to the crown store for costumes, ZOS would like that!

Of course, but once you have your builds entered, you don't need the game. I copy an existing one and swap out gear and CPs and whatnot.

This was one of the best features in Destiny. You could view your character and move items between characters and the vault. I would love something like that here, that way when I'm at work I could prep for the time I have when I get home.

Why....because they’ve said many times in different formats for the last 4 years that they don’t want players to be able to inspect others. This essentially is the same discussion

Now i would however like an app that lets me see them in 3D that also has QoL features such as

-see character specific known and unknown motif pages
-Dressing room for costumes and the new outfit features
-Guild calendar with invite capabilities

I’d imagine a longer list but if I’m honest, until the base game bugs and new bugs are resolved, I’d be really detracted away from the game if that’s where their focus went.

Also Xbox app on PC and console let’s me see my characters if I screenshot or video them so it’s not required. And this is available to others but only if we choose to make it available

This is pretty much what the Destiny app was. You could change outfits and get a 3D view. It also gave access to your info and belongings. It was not publicly available for others to see. It is about the only thing I miss from Destiny other than the group I would run raids with.

Not really, earlier I was talking about putting it some place in your person account settings, so that it could NOT be viewed by others.
