I run 2H/bow, so draining shot works if they're not cc-immune.

If ZAAN is in strong hands then there is no best way to counter it as:

• You cannot out-heal it if you are debuffed and your heals are cut.
• You cannot follow the mechanic and break it if it's in the hands of a mag sorc for example.
• You cannot block it as your block can be stunned into a deadly combo + last ticks of zaan.

So yeah just hope that ZOS reaches their goal on selling the DLC asap and a proper balance will come after that.
