Tool Tip Typo: Deep Breath

In the first image you will see that deep breath is indicated to apply off balance for 2 seconds.

Since DBONES off balance was standardized to be applied at 5 seconds universally which you can see in the second image as i interrupt my templar friend trying to cast beam on me.

Insofar as the Off Balance status effect (supposedly) lasts 5 seconds "universally", the Skills UI tooltip for the Deep Breath ability apparently does have a typographical error.

However, what the tooltip discloses when a player places the mouse cursor on the Deep Breath icon, showing it equipped, on the Ability Bar is what the duration of the status effect should be when the ability affects a target. If that tooltip, too, states that the duration is two seconds instead of five, then there is a typographical error in both of the respective tooltips -- assuming that the duration of Off Balance is actually five seconds after the ability is used during play.

Else, if the Deep Breath icon tooltip states that the duration is five seconds, then perhaps some modification occurs that increases it when it is equipped. Patch Notes don't always agree with what players see in the game, or, rather, they often don't describe exactly how the feature is implemented.

The only things that change with tooltips in the case of it being on your bar or it being in your skill book would be damage in most cases. Things like off-balance which was standardized in dragon bones cant be affected by even those sweet passives that increase your durations on things.

So whether or not its on your bar doesn't matter.

That being said ill provide you with an image of the tooltip from the skill bar.

To reiterate:

The tooltip on the skill when its in the skill book or on the skill bar says that off-balance is applied for 2 seconds.

In practice off-balance is applied at the correct amount of 5 seconds when interrupting with this skill in question.
