I really wish they'd add one to the game.
Solo or group play (group of course harder)
Each round gates open and the enemy comes out. Each level getting harder but with a larger reward. Highest level achieved makes it to leaderboards.
After every x amount of rounds get special tokens or keys for goods. I dunno just something that popped in my head I'd like to see.

Isn't that almost like Maelstrom and Dragonstar Arena? Except instead of staying in the same exact ring, you get nice changes of scenery.2 -

✭✭If you want a real colosseum challenge, stand in front of an enemy keep in Cyrodiil. Enemies will come out to attack you. The longer you stay alive, the more enemies that will come.0 -

Hammerdeath Arena in Stormhaven is for duelling.
Kvatch Arena is for a daily "public" bossfight.
Dragonstar Arena is for "group" battles.
Maelstrom Arena is for "solo" challenges.
Imperial City Arena District is... for ganking and madness!
And then there are some in storyline quests, in Reapers March (quest to become arerna champion), Eastmarch (cradlecrush arena where you fight to help the giants) and Malabel Tor (where you mess with the wood orcs attempt to capture the green lady) IIRC. Might be more I just have forgotten at this point.
Still, these -could- be redone to be opened for a daily after the initial quest for them was completed, hmm? I could see that for the reapers march arena at the very least...
