Golden Vendor Idea (Access to Full Table of Items at 2x or 3x the Price)

Instead of having the Golden Vendor be entirely RNG-based, the idea is for the full selection of the Golden Vendor table to be available every weekend for increased prices. RNG will determine which items (2 helm or shoulder and 4 jewelry pieces) are sold at discounted rates (which would cost current prices) every weekend.

To compensate for having a full table available, which would allow us to select the specific item we want, the prices could be doubled or even tripled. For example, if you REALLY want a specific ring in gold and you don't want to wait until it potentially (if ever) becomes available for discount, then it would cost you 1.5 million AP or 750,000 gold to get it.

I did a PUG run the day the dlc dropped for Xbox and "I got lucky" with a great group we got the speed run and HM done first try it's actually an easy dungeon EXCEPT you must communicate. But personally I feel like the last DLC dungeons where harder

Always having access to Gold Jewelry for an insane price doesn't sound too bad..
Armor pieces, weapons, and Monster Sets all available for any price all the time - Sounds a tad much.

no. would devalue the lot of them if they were all accessible at any time. and this isnt coming from someone who sells them.

Exactly! It feels like an accomplishment of having to wait 2 years for the set you want to come out and have a chance to buy them

I've never bought this theory. Who the heck plays ESO enough to care about monster helms or gold rings, but can't afford $15 bucks or whatever for a DLC?

Considering that ZOS can charge whatever they want for them, there's no chance of them becoming "devalued".

If we're getting to the point where people don't appreciate having a limited chance to obtain non-Cyrodiil sets with Cyrodiil currency and would rather Adhazabi Aba-daro be a buffet for their flavors of the month, then maybe it's time to retire the vendor and go back to earning those sets the originally intended way.

Dungeons probably aren't going to improve somebody's blood pressure or attitude, but an hour outside Cyrodiil would at least provide a mental reset.

Dungeons probably aren't going to improve somebody's blood pressure or attitude, but an hour outside Cyrodiil would at least provide a mental reset.

If this is done they damn sure better make gold jewelry drop as well,which is more so what I tend to look for.

1) "casual" players woul never be able to buy anything from that vendor. Now they can at least buy "ok" items and use them in their build, which is totally fine. At least we don't see everybody wearing the same stuff.

2) What would be the point of the vendor reappearing weekly in such case?

Don't like this idea. I have the currency to cash out on golden jewelry. Really, any of the big PvPers could dump multiple millions of AP on a ring without breaking a sweat. And after that, there would be no reason to ever visit the Golden again.

What kills her is repetition. Certain sets just re-appear all the time. And not the popular ones.
Once a set is being sold, it should drop the chance to be rolled again.
There should also be an increased chance for popular sets. You know, could even start a poll on ESO Live to determine what sets are wanted, and then just manually increase the chance in the code.

Let's face it. There is a lot of stuff in the game that is worthless gear wise. I doubt 50% of what is available ever gets used and that is because of the "metas" out there. I'd rather see all the worthless stuff removed than have this.

The correct answer is that no one would have an incentive to do content ... if the whole loot tables for monster helms were available for sale all at once.

it just might be too good that way, even with the increased prices.
increasing the amount of items per week would be nice, though.

Just make them like 500k normally. Then if someone wants to buy at 150k, and sell a few weeks later for triple what they paid, it will still be profitable. While also giving a way to get any specific piece if you are willing to make the gold required, rather than waiting literal years for it to show up.

would also farm gold to buy them for a fortune.
but i cant.

now i have a "chance" to get them from the golden.
but it's boring to only wait and not to play for it.

Sorry I don't like the idea. Even now the prices are on a level from another planet. And you ask ZOS for even higher. I probably bought from golden a single time because of the ridiculous prices and I regret that day. Jewellery should be crafted and improved long ago, yet we are stuck to excessively expensive items. Thanks but no thanks.
