Cinder Mask from Reaper's Harvest Crates - Eye Color Locked

Originally the Cinder Mask's eye color could be changed, but only using colors from the 'rare' tab. See this post from @Justin5580 for a concise summary. I can confirm that I had this same problem with the Cinder Mask.
But since update v3.3.5 there's an additional problem. The eye color tab/slot has been removed completely. There seems to be no way to change the eye color at all. I changed the eye color on my Cinder Mask (prior to update v3.3.5) and now the color I chose is locked in and cannot be changed or reverted to default.
