Is there any gear that increases pickpocketing? Trying to avoid rerolling my wood elf to khajiit. Thanks

The default chance can be improved by putting points in the Light Fingers perk in the Legerdemain skill tree, for a bonus of [10 / 20 / 35 / 50]%. Additionally, the Khajiit racial passive Cutpurse increases your chance to successfully pickpocket by 5%.

There is no gear that improves pickpocket chance, as far as I know.

Use the passives!

I do but khajiit get a +5% passive to pickpocket. Might not sound like a big deal, but still wood elf will get caught 1 out of 20 picks the khajiit will not.

That's... Not how RNG works.

But it might be how ZoS RNG works.

You know, like 15% chance to dodge and that dude on the horse dodging 3 attacks in a row...

Those two sets reduce sneaking radius detection, but sadly, do not help with pickpocket chance.

Was going to say the same. Maybe it helps him hide from the guards after getting a bounty. 1

Roll one each. I use khajit for wanted posters on guards . Its not a big deal tho.

Gear is worth it for speed picking tho and not getting spotted. I run front bar speed set and back bar a second sneak set.

Yep, but it means you can sit a foot away from the npc and not be detected. Couple it with the passives and khajiit.. best thief in town.

Run those two sets On one bar... run night silence on the other bar so u can ignore sneak penalty while hidden.. then swap to be more stealthy.
Plus the alliance skill and you can move like the wind.
