I just want to take a moment to give a big thumbs up to the Devs for the improvements to this games PvP...
This is the best it has ever felt from my standpoint, and I see a lot of balance improvements that have made the game more enjoyable...
Now please note, I havent encountered Zaan or Cal Legacy yet, so I'm just going off of what I've experienced thus far...
Puncturing Sweeps:
The decision to widen this abilities AoE has made a big difference on my ability to make the Sweeps land on my opponent on a consistent basis...
Prior to the update "Bunny Hopping" was too effective at avoiding Sweeps; post update, I have been tearing Bunny Hopping opponents up who have attempted to use this tactic against me...
Invigorating Drain:
Pre update, this ability was only useful to Stun/Cancel against the better opponents as they'd immediately Bash you and interrupt the channel otherwise...
In effect, you could never use the ability as intended and Regen 15 Ult over 3 seconds...
Now, post update, as long as you have stun immunity, you can hold the channel the entire 3 seconds and regain Ult as originally intended (excellent, excellent, improvement Devs)...
In addition to that goodness, you now move faster during the channel, which makes it easier to maintain once it's connected on your target...
Destro Ult vs Devouring Swarm:
I feel that these two abilities are finally balanced against each other...
Destro Ult has a significantly higher tool tip as pertains damage output and has a longer duration...
Devouring Swarm is cheaper, heals you, and (this is very significant) has a larger AoE than Destro Ult now...
With Destro Ult having a smaller AoE than before makes a very significant difference on your ability to get away from the person using it against you, and that adds to the value of Devouring Swarm as you now have legit pro's and con's for both abilities when deciding which of these to slot...
All in all, I love what I see so far...
That might change once I experience the new Proc Sets, but at current, I'm a very happy customer...
Great job Devs!
