Can people please place PvP threads in the correct subforums?

Its really annoying to me when I click on a subject thread in General, and its about a skill being used in PvP or a particular aspect of the game that only affects PvP. So, time to whinge about it.

Sometimes, it feels like the only thing that matters to ESO forumdads players is how the game affects something in PvP, when in reality, the greater majority of this game is about PvE.

Also, moderation - I sometimes feel forum moderation is just a little bit lax. Maybe they should consider hiring in some volunteer player-moderators?

Seriously? So should there be a PvE section rather than General? It's an MMORPG and a vast game at that. PvE talk and DPS stat ePEEN can be particularly dull even to PvEers

I'm sure fishers don't want to hear about your DPS score
Nor traders hear about your vMoL HM challenges and whilst PvP is but one aspect of the game many PvPers frequent the forum as there's alot to debate. General gets the best attention, most check it, and thus most post there to get it seen. Personally I only check recent so don't care what section its from as happy to see info about the broader game.

Just report it and say it's a PvP base topic and if the mods agree they will move it. Edit: Although it's worth noting you shouldn't try to start policing the forums yourself.

However general discussion is always going to be about well... general discussion and the balance of a set, skill, class in PvP also effects PvE players due to them all sharing the same things.

General is general if there is an issue in pvp then it can most likely happen in pve so posting anything in general is helpful and not hurting the forums in anyway.

Also general gets more attention from devs.mods, and players so if a individual wants something seen sooner rather than later they post general

I agree, if you’re making a statement about a skill in general it can go in general discussion, but many times people are clearly talking about it only in a PvP context and by placing it in general it starts a whole misguided conversation because people don’t realize it’s only PvP related. There’s a PvP combat and skills section for a reason.

So you're saying pvp players aren't allowed to discuss in "general discussion"? I'll just get my things and move to the back of the bus like the 2nd class citizen I am.

There is also a PvE section. Just because PvP talk isnt interesting for some doesnt mean we have to go to another subforum. Yes I do agree that some topics are very off topic but most people are reaching out for help with issues in game and it may only be in pvp it happens but it is a game issue not a pvp issue. (been up for 28 hours my argument may be Dog sh****t)

IMO we have to many subforums. If they deleted some of those and focused a little more it would create a better "community" in that subforum and draw more people of that interest there. The main reason so many post in gen is because of the audience Again IMO

Well tbh your post in the pvp subforum will be drowned by the countless videos ppl post furiously jerking there own egos to a happy ending so general might get it seen.

Agreed. Whoever came up with the design should be shot in the foot and only admitted to hospital when he manages to find 3 other people willing to maim themselves the same way in order to accompany him.

Ultimately, any method of entering an enemy keep without breaking down the door is considered an exploit. Thanks for checking!
