Leap issue

when I leap 1 of 3 things happens. 1 they take no dmg and get a random looking CC. like they get the leap cc but they just stand there for the duration. 2 they take dmg and cc but they teleport around until the CC is over and then back to original spot. then 3 leap doesnt go off. no idea why this happens seems random I cant recreate just happens.
