Bone Shield Synergy

Currently leveling Bone shield and the unmorphed version has an extremely small synergy area. It appear to be 2M radius from caster. Is this intended? I would think that it should have at least an 8 meter radius for synergy. Tested in PVE with 1 other person off cooldown he started at range and walked towards me while i casted the ability. The player was not able to activate the synergy until he was in range of the actual globe around me. I'm only guessing that it's 2 meter radius but to actually get it to work you literally have to be standing on top of the caster. I can not imagine that this is the intended mechanic. Can we get a dev to actually look at this and perhaps correct it?
