Honestly idc how other people play the game as long as it doesn't affect my gameplay negatively, so I'm in the minority here...sure, pay for CPs, knock yourself out

I can see how many gamers may not like this, but sooner or later you may want to consider selling Champion Points in Crown Store. As newly rival gamers join the ESO community a lot of them will be discouraged and likely to quit as soon as they join, do to the inability to compete against higher Champion Point level gamers and are less likely to receive group invites or run in Veteran Trials. For me I play on the Xbox One and I watch gamers come and go, as if they really want to play. But aren't able to compete or keep up.

I'm not saying where the gamer could keep buying over and over, but have it kinda like a "Starter Pack." Where it helps encourage the gamers experience, like a 500 CP Starter Pack and only could be purchased once.

They arent "competing" against anyone. The only competition is PvP, and you simply play no-CP campaigns until you get around 400CP...then either stay in no-CP or move on to CP as you like. Thank you, but no thank you. Its a MMO, the grind is part of the appeal, sad but true, go play a FPS if you dont want to grind.

The OP mentioned selling them like or with a starter pack (with maybe 500 CPs), a one-time purchase. I don't see how that's pay to win.

Paying for an experience gain is pretty much the definition of P2W.

I read the title in a different way thinking it would suggest something like selling cp (your own) for gold. Like 1 cp for like 10000g? Over capped guys could reduce what they have and make money .. I'm on heavy antibiotics so if that didn't make sense ... I'm ok with it, I can taste colours!!

I always thought if it gave you a competitive advantage, the more $ you spend, the more advantage you have. So I guess I'll disagree.

HOWEVER, is it such a PRIDE to have many CP. just means you play alot or have grinded CPs.

WOW/SWTOR have the option to buy boosted characters. (almost boosted)

Would it be the end of the world. MEH >:)

There's a video out there showing that a guy leveled from zero to CP690 in 4 days and 3 hours of game time. Granted this was with the help of friends but that is extremely fast.

Which, being able to allot points via CP is pretty much how the competitive advantage occurs.

Not trying to split hairs, but how? Maybe a 500 CP has a slight advantage over a 300 CP player in PvP, but I don't even think this is true. A 300 CP player can easily take out a 500 CP player. And as far as PvE goes, I definitely don't see an advantage.

But I could be thinking about this all wrong...

Don't know about WoW anymore but there is a lot of ire in SWTOR (or was, I've not played it since last year) over that. The same objections of "oh, here's a bright new shiny level 60 who hasn't a bleedin' clue on how to play their class.".

Actually asking for pay to win.
You already have xp scrolls to buy, pay to win at crafting scrolls, pay to win training your horses, now you just want pay to level up. What are you talking about, that is a stupid idea.

Those are Leveled Games, not Scaled Games. Completely different.

In this game, there is nothing stopping an L3 to group up with and run content with a max ranked character. This is something you can not do at all with those two games you mentioned.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.
