Do you think any upcoming furniture crafting will require aetherial dust?

Simple question as to as I currently don't see any known furniture recipes that call for aetherial dust if they will at a latter date add some? Currently been holding onto 2 aetherial dust and wondering if they ever will.

Tbh I do hope for some use of aetherial dust that can be used for something that is not expendable.

If they require that stuff, that thing will never get made
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Usually developers put those requirements there because they feel certain materials are over-abundant and need a "sink" to keep them at relatively stable prices, even if supply increases. I feel that the master writ system was introduced partly to become a temper sink. Since Aetherial Dust is overwhelmingly rare - I've only gotten one in a year, having probably harvested tens of thousands of nodes since I've gotten that achievement on no less than 4 characters during that time - so it certainly doesn't need a sink.

    How about crafting cost?
Furniture that requires a million AP to craft?

I thought they removed that from the game. At least, it is so rare that it might as well be. Only bots, and anyone else that can just farm endlessly, find that sort of stuff.

My general rule is that if I can make more gold than the selling price before finding another one, don't sell it. The gold just isn't proportional to the effort.

I hope not. Aether dust shouldn't even be in the game. It was put in as an excuse to sell crown XP pots that were better than normal ambrosia. It ruined the normal ambrosia economy and made life miserable for everyone but people that don't even play this game but just game the economy like this was freaking EvE.

Aetherial dust shows up in the most oddest of places. But I bet stolen aetherial dust is likely the rarest if that even exists.

Aetherial dust comes from every thing that can be harvested except monsters. Monsters drop Aetheric Ciphers... supposedly. I mean, I bought one, so someone had to find one. I get Dust every 6 months or so, with 3-4 hours of farming per day. Never found a Cipher tho, no matter how many mudrabs I kill.

Rumor has it that they don't drop from Mudcrabs. Anything you can walk past and not get attacked won't drop them.

Although, realistically, they drop so rarely that I figure they don't drop from anything.

I have no idea. I kill a lot of things that do attack, still have never gotten a cipher. I tried grinding for one for a full year, then gave up and spent 2 million. Took less time to save the gold than actually find one. I firmly believe the only people who get them 'regularly' are botters. (or through duping)

There was a group that were duping them on PC... but I think that's been taken care of, not seeing 8-10 listed by the same 2 people on different traders anymore.

Dunno how people dupe items in eso, not inclined to want to know either. If I were to know I probably would report it with a detailed report on how it is done so it can be fixed. Can only want to improve quality of life for others.
