Console add-ons/functionality

Never posted before so please bare with me. I would like to know why there is not any add-on support for console. Furtherer more if 3rd party add-ons aren't a reasonable request, and I can think of reasons why they wouldn't be, then why not built in functionality that would fill the lack thereof? For example I would like to see a viable way to track market values, this was never an issue on Pc, but after switching to console it has become very tedious. If I am asking for to much, or this has already been asked, my apologies. What would you like to see added?

100% do not want add ON's for consoles.

Base game functionality or not at all, its the primary reason im on console as I don't agree with all the shortcutting Add ON's do, or crutch they give such s Miats.

In terms of checking price, just check. This is akin to the auction house threads. Honestly prefer it how it is now as a buyer you get good deals. Join good trading guilds and via text chat most will give you market value of things anyway.

A built in feature that tracks prices I wouldn't consider shortcutting. I do agree however that there are many add-ons that I would like to see avoided. I also agree that you can get decent deals without this feature. Joining a guild can help sometimes, but I have also seen guild members that will give lowball prices to new players just to benefit themselves.

yeah, i chose to play this game on Xbox for the level playing field as well (i also didn't feel like setting up WinE again).
there are base-game interface improvements that come free with many (most?) Updates, and it is slowly getting better. it'll never have all the options available to add-on users, just because of the workforce disparity: there are far more geeks playing the game than there are employed by the studio.

oh and there aren't add-ons for the consoles i think because Microsoft and Sony don't want strangers digging through their proprietary code.

i would LOVE to see sub-string (rather than Boolean) searches for the items at guild traders. this wouldn't change the trader system, it would just let you bring up the item you need in less time than it takes to develop a headache. hopefully it would be persistent between traders like the current search system (which has improved immensely over the past year) so i could just type it once and then run around hitting A and X.

i'd also like to be able to preview motifs at the guild trader. i think we might be getting closer to this, as they've implemented furniture previews, and now the Outfit System. we already know it's possible because we can preview motifs from the Crown Store. i'm not sure if previewing a sword motif should also show the rest of the armor on your character (CS style) or just a floating rotatable sword (furnishing style), but that's up to ZOS's coders and visionaries. i sure hope there's already a guy with a post-it note on his monitor about it though.

You are completely right about the proprietary code, although it is an option for games like Fallout and Skyrim. I should have reworded my original post, because it isn't really add-ons I would like but rather built in features. I think your sub-string search for traders is an awesome idea and would like to see it implemented as well.

I play on xbox as well, but I still would love an add-on or feature built in like dressing room I believe its called. It gets a little tedious sorting through gear and changing set ups.
