Shadow Mundus Stones + 7 Divines?

Do percentage based Mundus stones operate the same way as Champion points?

If not why do most stam DPS builds recommend the Shadow Mundus + 7 divines?

Shadow = +9% crit damage.

While wearing 6 Divines:
6 divines = 45% increase.
Shadow = +13.05% Crit Damage.

While wearing 7 Divines:
7 Divines = 52.5% increase
Shadow Mundus = +13.72% crit damage.

Am I really getting the extra 0.65% crit damage or would I be better off running 1 piece infused?

    Or does it only effect whole number percentages making the 7th piece of Divines void as 6 pieces give a 13.05% increase?

    It rounds down to the nearest whole number, just like CPs. So yes, the 7th Piece does nothing.

    Are you sure these builds are up to date? The shadow mundus stone has been nerfed into uselessness. Your crits will literally hit harder with Warrior/Apprentice.

    That's really weird because I can't think of one instance where I'd take the shadow mundus stone.

    As to your question, I'm not sure if mundus stones based on percentage boosts only respect full percentages. If I were to venture a guess I'd say no, I'd assume they operate the same way as Champion Point percent amplifiers.

    Stam DPS is definitely better off using Warrior. As far as I know Shadow is only best for Mag Sorc pet builds with high crit, an only if they use a spammable instead of heavy attacks. All other DPS builds will be best with warrior or apprentice.

    Thanks guys for sharing that about the warrior stone because I have 3 stam DPS all using thief/shadow and I can change that now.

    However, I still need the question answered about the full % values for my Hybrid toon.

    Crit damage boosts both my weapon and spell DPS. And so does stat pool total.

    So if I can run 6 divines + 1 Infused with a tristat glyph on 1 piece without it affecting crit damage then I still get a slight DPS boost from it.
