Lettuce discuss the issue of format vs. content. If one's point is valid, should we endure a rambling, semi-corherent wall of text? Is a mostly pointless, or even flatly wrong, post given more influence if it is well presented?

All my opinions on ESO are based on the aesthetics of the first post I see advocating that viewpoint.

Lag in PVP needs to be addressed, yes there are countless posts, some of them have 15-20 pages and the only response is from a MOD saying "Play Nice". I am not saying that responses from ZO$ would stop duplicate posts, but ZO$ needs to manage the forum. The official "Long Load Time" page has 30+ pages and hasn't had a post from ZO$ in weeks, I made a post that stated post 1.3.2 that the problem was back and worse than ever, my post was shut down and a link to the super long, basically dead post from back in Nov 2017. That doesn't help the situation. I know fixes take time, I understand that some/most/all are hard to fix, I get all of that, but your suggestion is to search the forums and if the issue has been addressed assume that ZO$ has it under control. I think clearly that isn't case. Perhaps we all just have it wrong, that the forums are here to communicate with ZO$, maybe it is just to discuss things amongst ourselves and have no presumption that they are listening, care, or are engaged.

Next if you are posting your ideas in other people’s threads you are not forum warrioring properly! My ideas are always the most important. So it is very important that my ideas are at the top of the thread. You should consider yourself lucky that I did not make a thread about this right now!

i wish that would work, but so many people don't include the subject of their topic in the thread title. i don't know if they're being "clever" or if they sincerely think that's how communication works after seeing so many clickbait links online, but too often on here there's no indication of the contents without clicking first.

Polls with unneeded options, and same threads over and over again (hair dyeing, cyrodiil lag, etc.).
Question these before you post:
How often the topic of this post is discussed?
If it is a poll, will it help ZOS in terms of statistics and research in order to improve the game?
Has a similar post been posted before, if it was, how long ago?
How helpful will it be to the community?
Don't get me wrong, i am not trying to prevent anybody from posting, but from the past few months the forums has been really repititive and full of crap.
The best thing to do with a unintelligent troll/nerf post is let it die a quiet death by not responding to it. If these posts are met with silence then they will disappear to the death that is known as "Not page 1" and will hopefully never be seen again.
