I've been having this issue with pChat for probably a year now, so it could be a conflicting addon,
Whenever it restores chat, it spits out double messages and makes everything look messed up.

✭I use pchat and never seen that. Though with latest update the pchat is spewing out 1million error messages for me so waiting for it to update to dragon bones, if ever.Moons and sands shall be your guide and path.

✭✭✭✭✭pChat has all sorts of issues, it does not play well with other AddOns. I had to add code in my AddOn in several places just to deal with pChat specifically and make sure my AddOn doesn't crash when pChat is installed.
