Annulment (light armor skill shield) broken

I just found out, that you cant cast Annulment anymore (light armor skill lines hield), when 1/5 of your light armor pieces is 0% durability.

This only can be a bug, since it makes no sense - I still wear 5 pieces light armor, even if one is damaged. Also the description says "with 5 equiped pieces", not "with 5 equiped and healthy pieces".

When your armor is fully damaged, it is not equipped anymore as it relates to providing benefit to the character, such as Set Bonuses or protection or stats.

So, this is not a bug. It is intended.

I agree regarding the protection - which is obvious - and the enchants. But making a skill useless is another part, especially when in the description is stated "equiped".

Not that I rely on that much, coz I mostly repair my armor long before it reaches 0%, but I would like an official statement anyway.

That's just it, broken armor is not equipped, even if it is shown in the slot.

It used to be actually taken off the character and put into inventory. I think they changed that at some point as people were deconning set items by mistake.

You also lose the passives if your armor is broken, test it^^

Yep your set boni used to break too, I don't know if that is still true because I don't let it get that way, but yeah. Broke is broke.

Pro tip: scour the guild kiosks for grand repair kits. You can get them for 40-90g ea, and this is cheaper by far than one shot repair all at a NPC merchant.

Since youre all saying the same, I wanna trust you and consider it my fault to blame it being bugged.

it is missleading description tho, in a certain way.
