We need a FOURTH Skill line for classes

Here are some of my ideas:

Nightblade- Ranger with pet
Skill line focused on bow used with conjunction with a pet (cat, bear, or wolf)

Templar- Spear/Lance
Skill line focused on brutal physical attacks with emphasis on AOE

Sorc- Warmage
Skill line focused on shields and melee attack bonuses with close range magic damage.

Dragon Knight- 2Handed hammer/Berserker
Skill line focused on stuns and AOE damage through earth magic.

Warden- Druid/Shapeshifter
Skill line focused on changing form and gaining form specific abilities.

We don't need a new class, just more variety with the ones we already have.

Could the spear be Aedric in origin?

Your NB suggestion is already in the game, a particular Ranger type - Warden.

Not really. I want a bow spec that works in conjunction with a pet. The warden does not get bow skills with their bear.

While I agree with more skills in whatever form, new skill line in existing classes, new guild skill line, added skills, skill-crafting, etc etc, I never agree with more pets. Pets are a crutch for DPS too unskilled(or lazy) to do their own DPS and they are the bane of Tanks, always stealing aggro and stunning enemies(stunned enemies cant be chained). They require more processing power on both the server and the PC side for no real reason...the existing pets we have are fine for those that like pets, but no more please.

From a flavor perspective, a ranger role as described above would fit with the Warden class, wouldn't fit with Nightblade at all. Nightblades by definition are lone assassin types(their existing "pets" make no sense as it is).

What do you mean? I think I do not understand "bow skills with their bear" part. Bear is an ulti and you get to slot bow skills into 5 slots. NB is an illusion class, not even close to being a Ranger.

No class has weapon specific skills, nor should they. If you want to use a bow with the bear, level up your bow skill line and use one.

Wouldn't want to confuse it with cliffracers^^
Warden Main apparently... 7 Wardens currently, otherwise a healer of every class.

If they were to ever add fourth skill lines for each class, I'd prefer to see something along these lines:

dragon knight: Thu'um - shout abilities like we had in skyrim.

Sorceror: alteration - telekinesis, force wave, paralysis, and similar kinetic abilities.

templar: divine ally - a summoning line directly mirroring the daedric summoning branch, allows a golden saint companion and several supportive abilities focused at calling on aedric aid in battle.

nightblade: an illusion skill line that can play with enemy aggro/behavior (enrage, subdue/calm, coerce) and has abilities like chameleon to boost stealth play.

warden: natures wrath - a skill line opposing green balance that uses plants and nature magic offensively. Entangling roots to immobilize, summon strangler vines to pull/tether/damage enemies, wall of brambles to impede enemy movement and cause bleed, maybe a Spriggan summon as an ultimate like the bear - a permanent pet that buffs and heals your group while you fight.

But nothing silly like weapon skills in class lines, op.

I think it would be cool if the fourth skill line was tied to a quest line. Each class having its own story. So the skills would unlock like the thief and brootherhood skill lines.

I definitely like the concept of "cross class" skills at some point ("elite levels"). I very much like the RP aspects of cloak (pretty much useless in PVE), and would like to see a SORC, or WARDEN have access to skills from the NB line. In the same way that my NBs are lonely and would like real pets :)

Honestly should be an unarmed skill line with speed buffs, target debuffs, and fast attacks.

Much more interesting concept would be if you could use one skill line from another class. For example Sorc Tank with a DK tank skill line. :)

No we don't. Too much overlap. Too much balance mess. If anything the psijic skillline, if its not a class, would be a good way to add new usable skills. But it'd have to be not P2W, preferably base game, but with convenience passives like the DB/TG stuff be DLC.

Be a warden. Use NB shadow skill line. Gain access to fear, shade and cloak. Abuse people with shalk+DB bombs from stealth. Fear and kill whoever is left.

For templars, we will pass on a 4th skill line. Instead can we have our already existing skills fixed and adjusted so they are actually useable.

NO! We need the legendary Short Bow from Guild Wars that shoots Unicorns for it's normal attack! That's what this person wants! Hell I want this too! Magical unicorn firing bow!

I agree, totally, which is why I keep linking to my Class Morph Idea!

Not just -one- fourth skill line, but some -choices-! Ways to diversify our characters, get "either-or" choices, decide which direction we want to take them!

Some of your idea are hybrid related... you know ESO hybrids are dead ... but they still exist in PVP
TBH , You have no effective methods to balance pools and penetrations , ZOS knows
