Its only me Who find game weps and armor skins so boring?
Yes, I know this is not fashion wars 2,but the dessigns we can see in other games are so Great...
You can do a fast search in Google to see images and art of armor and weapons, with shinny effects, big and original dessigns..

Maybe you can say this kind of skins is not good for eso inmersion, but then try to search gw1 armors, is an old game more similar than eso on graphics... And better dessigns.

What do you think? Do you want to see styles like these?

No. Hell, some of the recent armor and weapon styles are already far too fancy for my taste.

They're trying to keep close to the feel and lore of the TES series. Which whilst has some odd balls has mostly kept their armour and weapons from going too over the top.

Don't need to be fancy to be cool as heck!

In my opinion ESO has some of the better armor designs in the MMO world. Of course there's some designs that feel seriously lacking, and especially the original base game armor motifs are in dire, DIRE SERIOUS need of a visual upgrade, but this game's armor design is still leagues above 'Ten-thousand-spikes-Rick' and 'Lingerie-Mary' armors overpopulating most other MMOs for me.

We have a lot of good designs already, I believe it will only expand now that the outfit system is implemented.

      Hi there @DetreS!

Thanks for your feedback! We understand that design can be subjective and we hope you are able to find some armor and weapons you enjoy the look of. We would suggest maybe taking a look at ESO Fashion, while not official, it is a great resource and may help you find something you like.

That being said, we greatly appreciate your feedback and you are more than welcome to share any other designs you like.

As a side note, you're all looking so fancy, thanks for sharing!

ESO already contains some...questionable motifs (hollowjack, dro'mathra, etc). I prefer more realistic looks.

Speaking of subjective design taste, this sword looks like it was inspired by the Makraka, a real world implement that was meant to resemble it's wielder's.. Manhood.

      Interesting weapon.

It's a matter of uniform aesthetic that ESO's armor and weapons don't get into the incredulous territory that some other more cartoonishly-styled MMO aim for. Everything is more or less of a practical-looking size for the setting. Further, while magickal arms and armor are most assuredly common in the Elder Scrolls series, they are only in very rare instances flashy and vivacious. Most of the time the best they'd get is a minor sheen, similar to what we see on weapons in ESO. Rarely we'd see anything particularly outlandish, with notable exceptions as with Hopesfire and Trueflame.

Now this isn't to say I'm opposed to having more cool particle effect options on weapons. I was recently sad to hear, for instance, that Moondancer set weapons no longer impart their characteristic effects to Outfit replacement weapons. That was a great loss for those who were using that aesthetic, I hear. But I would rather dislike if ESO started branching off into overhuge weapon or armor models. It's just not what I'm looking for in the series.
