How are they viewed by other races in the Pact? Would they fit in? What would be a plausible reason for them to be there.

WakeYourGhost✭✭✭✭✭Literally any reason at all. I imagine most members of most Alliances would view any "out of Place" races with the same combination of suspicion and respect they grant their fellow Alliance races.
Deeds mean the most.
Anyways, not every member of every race is born in their "homeland"3 -

Well, what if the Redguard are hated more than the Bretons? Also, the Bretons have noteworthy kin in the area in the form of Reachmen. They argue they aren't the same but they are the same races. It's not unusual for them to be in Skyrim.0 -

Orcs however would fit, its an significant Orcish population in Grathwood and Greenshade, they mostly keep to them self but pretty plausible that some ran away from the strongholds.
The other major out of faction race is lots of Khajiit in Alik'r, they are also well integrated so an Khajiit in DC makes perfect sense.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.0 -

✭✭Literally any reason you can think of justifies it. Trade caravans, independent sellswords, being born and raised in the area, whatever works for you. Dunmer won't trust you no matter who you are. Nords and Argonians tend to be less racist.
