How high is the dps increase from maelstrom bow?

✭✭✭✭✭For me it was only a few thousand. At one point people were telling me 5-10k increase but I think that either changed in some more recent patches or was just bs to begin with.1 -

✭✭It darn near doubles your endless hail damage.
If a regular bow does 3500DPS or so damage on cast, that’s 35k Damage over 10 seconds. Right. Now that Maelstrom Bow does 6000DPS or 60k Damage.
These are similar numbers that I have got. Even more with penetration sets and poisons.
It makes running Maelstrom arena so much better with a stam toon. Without it, youre using endless and caltrops to get the same damage.
Youv’e spent enough time learning how to do Maelstrom, might as well use that knowledge to get the gear you need from it.0 -

Agreed it’s a massive help for vMA. Proablym it’s best use.0
