Timeline and random question

We know there is a paid DLC coming and the only way they can justify another paid DLC is if there is a new class coming. Did they announce any timeline for that DLC release?

I have one slot left to level a character which i would like to do to get the storage coffer, costumes etc.

I have pretty much everything leveled except for stamina sorc and stamina templar. The other thought is to make a warden tank because i wouldnt mind having a tank and i enjoyed leveling warden over dragonknight.

I don't want to level stamina sorc because to be honest it seems unnatural. Sorc should be magic. I also heard that stamina templar is rather bad. But if the dlc is expected by next crown season then maybe i will wait

So far, all we can gather isthat it is "2Q"

We do not know if there will be a new class. That might be desired by some, but it is not what I want and ranks as insignificant in my purchase decision this year.

It looks so far like it's not going to be a new class but a new game system or guild.

Good chance there won't be a new a class. Though datamining suggests a new Skill line akin to the Mages and Fighters guilds.

The only way they can "justify" a new DLC? We get 3 DLC a year and a chapter. No guarantee that it will have a new class. We were 2-3 years without a new class, I doubt that we should or can expect a new class every chapter. Presuming the same timeline is kept from last year we hope to see the new chapter in Q2, mid June-ish. The data mining has suggested that perhaps a new class is there, but the data for Warden was in the game since launch. I wouldn't wait on leveling a toon due to the upcoming chapter but only you can decide.

paid dlc. as in not part of the eso+.

a new skill line or jewellery to me doesnt justify another $40 paid dlc. They got a lot of flack for morrowind as it is.

Ok, then don't buy it. I think from what I see and read, most people are very excited for Summeset and the added skill line (most likely) and the potential for jewelry crafting and the outside chance at spell crafting, seems to be a good chapter coming.

A lot of the flack they got was for introducing a new class and a new PvP style. How would adding a new skill line and a new crafting profession that we've been asking for for years now result in anything different? People will complain for just about anything if they feel their incredibly lofty standards are not met to the letter.

Morrowind got dinged because it was not an ESO Plus or Crown DLC.

Personally, I thought it was about $10 too expensive, and that was based on how much of Vvardenfell was not fleshed out. Eventually, retail pricing of Morrowind corrected that issue.

If they don't do a new class, and that makes it too expensive, wait a few months. Sales will make the price more reasonable.

this has to do with being part of eso+ or being pulled out of it and being a separate purchase.

Remember people, the Warden was not a new class per say.
It was in Alpha ESO, but was shelved during Beta.
They just took it down for Morrowind release.
IMO, the chances of Zos "creating" and coding a whole new class is slim.
BUT! Spellcrafting IS already made and been ready since 2014 and Jewelry Crafting datamined?
Yes!!!! And we finally get to see Summerset thats not in 1994 graphics!!!
Huzzah is all I can say!!
I for one hope there in not new classes introduced and focus on things that need fixed that are already in game..

i did not know that.

I like the idea of spellcrafting but why do i think that will break the game.
