Sorting Inventory

I used to be able to sort my inventory by the stats of items. For example, I could sort weapons by Damage, or sort armour by Armour Value. For some time now, I haven't been able to do this, and it was REALLY useful when you have 20 or 30 staves or swords or whathaveyou in your inventory. Unfortunately, I don't know what addon gave me this ability.

I thought it was the Advanced Filters addon, but I've been using that and it doesn't seem to do it... either it used to, and no longer does, or it wasn't the addon doing it.

Either way, does anyone know if there's an addon that DOES this? Lets us sort inventory by stats?

I remember having the option but not sure if I do still.

Add-ons I used were inventory grid view and advanced filters for inventory.

I also ran Master Merchant & Awesome Guild Store which do modify UI elements but I am not sure if they touch inventory.

I've seen most of those, but they don't allow sorting by stats. I have Advanced Filters, but it doesn't seem to do it... but it MIGHT have been what was doing it previously, only not anymore for some reason.

I guess this means there IS no such addon, at least not anymore.

ESO has one of worst inventories in mmorpg genre by far...

I yet have to find a game where I can't take an item and place on spot where I want it to be. This inventory is joke

Do you guys know of any options/addons that allow you to mark something as junk with a key bind?

TBH Ive never missed option to sort inv by values as it depends on 3 things: item level, rarity and type/weight. Thats all you need to know. More important for me is sortying by sets and FCOItemSaver markers which is provided by AutoCategory. Why you would like to sort items by their stats? If I have 100 golden staves in eq all of them will have same attack value (unless one of them is nirnhoned).

Thing is, if I have 25 staves in my inventory, all of different level, all with different attributes, I can't tell which one I should be using without laboriously mousing over each and every one, waiting for the tooltip to pop up for each one. I used to be able to sort by damage, and it would put the one I wanted right there at the top of the list, or at least very near to it.

It's just more convenient.
